Elisa started her professional acting career at the age of 13 singing in Verdi's Attila at the Houston Grand Opera. After acting and singing throughout middle and highschool, Elisa went on to Yale University where she studied Drama, English & Playwriting. She joined the Yale Dramat acting company and worked on over 40 plays and musicals.
After graduation, Elisa moved to New York and was cast as the lead in the award-winning musical Belles of the Mill. After the show's run ended, she moved to Los Angeles, joined SAG and booked appearances on networks such as ABC, FX, MTV, Nickelodeon and the WB while working on projects with directors like James Gunn and Phil Beauman. Elisa is also a lead on the wildly popular audio series We're Alive with over 60 million downloads and recently voted Best of iTunes.
Elisa is currently working on other literary projects including the animated children's features The Dream Machine and Zak vs. Zombies, animated children's series The Backstage Adventures of Shakespeare Jones, The Genie & The Genius, and Hamsterdam, and various live-action projects as well. Shauna Shapiro Jackson is co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Showcase for Kids - a leader in family programming and part of the SC Group of Companies, along with Showcase Entertainment and SC Global Media.
Over the last twenty plus years, Shapiro Jackson has successfully produced and/or distributed, marketed and licensed over 300 feature films and several television series throughout the world in all media with stars such as Ben Affleck, Hilary Swank, Robert Downey, Jr., Sean Penn, Kathy Bates, Rob Schneider, Tobey Maguire, John Malkovich, Kiefer Sutherland, Christopher Walken, Collin Firth and Jeff Daniels.
Prior to founding Showcase Entertainment, Shapiro Jackson was a co-founder of the worldwide distribution company, Curb/Esquire Films (currently Curb Communications) where she served as Executive Vice President. She concurrently served as Vice President Production and Acquisitions of Curb/Musifilm whose partners included Universal Pictures. Amongst other things, they developed and co-produced sex, lies and videotape which won the Palm D’Or at Cannes.
Today, Shapiro Jackson and long time business partner David A. Jackson are strong players in producing and/or distributing family content, including the award winning films Little Red Wagon (from the acclaimed writer of Mr. Holland’s Opus and Courage Under Fire and the director of Rudy and Hoosiers), Under the Blood Red Sun (based on the Random House best-selling book of the same name), Contest (which premiered on Cartoon Network), Her Best Move (Released in the US by MGM and on several Disney Channels throughout the world), Endgame (Released on HBO and starring Modern Family’s Rico Rodriguez) and You May Not Kiss the Bride (starring Katharine McPhee, Rob Schneider, Kathy Bates and Mena Suvari).

Mike Barry ORIGINAL CONCEPT ARTIST for Dream Machine
- Mike Barry is an artist who works for the creative marketing team at Illumination Entertainment, the animated film company behind the company behind the Despicable Me franchise, The Secret Life of Pets and Sing, among others.
A New York City native, Mike attributes his introduction into the world of animated films to when, in high school, he met Peter de Seve, famed illustrator and character designer for a number of the industry's most acclaimed films. After graduating from Yale University in 2009 with a BA in Architecture Design, Mike moved to Los Angeles and began working for Illumination.
Aside from his work with Illumination, Mike illustrates, draws and designs for a variety of clients. Notably, he illustrated a children's book, Stella and the Sugar Bugs.
Len Simon CONCEPT & STORYBOARD ARTIST for Dream Machine
Len started his artistic career at the early age of 14. Creating T-shirt designs for sporting events and clothing companies, Len began to attract larger clients like Black Label and Budweiser.
After completing his first year of college at Sheridan, Len was recruited by Sullivan/Bluth Studios Ireland, where he was rapidly promoted to Directing Animator. From Ireland, he moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1994 and was one of the original staff of Fox Animation Studios. While at Fox, Len was one of the main leads on Anastasia and was promoted to Animation Director in charge of all the character animation on Bartok the Magnificent and Titan AE. With Fox Animation’s closure in 2000, Len established his own studio with his business partner James Stoyanof. Len has worked on more than a dozen classically animated feature films, recent films include: Prince of Egypt, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, 8 Crazy Nights, Fat Albert, Curious George, as well as a number of European animated features. His experience also includes television work, CD Rom, internet games, casino games, animated shorts, commercials and animated pilots.
Len’s ability has progressed to encompass all aspects of animation from storyboard and development to post production. His hands-on style of management has made Len one of the most accomplished figures in animation.
In his spare time, Len enjoys illustrating children’s books and sculpting, as well as developing original stories for print and film. Currently he is working on the Tom & Jerry television series and several features.
